Ally Sheedy
Alexandra Elizabeth Sheedy (born June 13th, 1962) is an American actress from America. Sheedy made her debut as an actor in Bad Boys in 1983. Since then, she's appeared on WarGames from 1985. She also appeared in The Breakfast Club in 1986 and Short Circuit in 1986. Sheedy was awarded with the Independent Spirit Award as Best Female Lead in her character in Lisa Cholodenko's High Art (1998). Ally Sheedy's is both an American actress, and author. Her film career began early in the 1980s with the crime-drama film Bad Boys, for which she earned a lot of praise. The film was starring Rick Rosenthal as well as Sean Penn as well as Esai Morales Clancy Brown & Alan Ruck. Her role was featured on screen in The Breakfast Club in 1985, a comedy drama that followed her initial success. The film was written and directed by John Hughes is considered one of the greatest film productions for high school ever made. Although the film's budget was only $1 million its profits exceeded $50 million. While she was doing this the first time on TV, her television debut took place on CBS Schoolbreak. Since April, 1980, the show was an adolescent program. The actress also appeared in other television shows like Chicago Story Big City Samuels and the Kid as well as Hill Street Blues. Recent appearances include Little Sister, a film about a super hero in which Sheedy plays an appearance in a minor role. Sheedy has been recognized for her extraordinary appearances, was awarded numerous prizes. Sheedy was awarded the MTV Movie Award's silver Bucket of Excellence Award 2005.
