Mary Marg Helgenberger (born November 16 1958) is a popular American actor from the United States. Her career began in the early 1980s and became famous because of her role as Siobhan Ryan on the soap opera for daytime viewers Ryan's Hope from 1982 to 1986. Catherine Willows was her best role on the CBS drama police procedural. Crime Scene Investigation from 2000-13 as well as Immortality (2005). Vegas is the sequel to her first film, and she's been reprising the character until 2022. Helgenberger was also in the character of K.C. Koloski is most well-known for her work in ABC's China Beach drama series (1988-91). The actress was honored with an Emmy Award of 1990 as Outstanding Supporting Artist in a Series Drama. Her other credits include roles in the TV show Under the Dome and Intelligence and in the film Species (1995) Species II (1998) Erin Brockovich (2000) and Mr. Brooks (2007). In 2007, she received an undergraduate degree in art history at Columbia University. In 2017 she was appointed co-host of the chat show on daytime talk show The View. She will keep hosting until 2021. McCain's other responsibilities include becoming a Daily Mail columnist after her period of three years on The View.
