Audrey Tautou

Audrey Tautou in Beaumont Puy De Domme, France was born the 9th of August in 1976. Audrey Tautou is an oldest child out of 4. Her parents were dentists and a teacher recognised and backed her love for acting and theatre as early as she was a child. This overcame her initial ambition to be a primatologist due to her love of monkeys. At the age of a young lady the rise to fame was rapid and marked with the beginning of her success. In 1998 after her studies, she was a participant in a French program for scouting talent on TV called Jeunes Premiers sponsored by Canal+ and won Best Young Actress at the Beziers Festival of Young Actors prior to beginning acting professionally. Tautou, who attended her school at the Institut Catholique de Paris in Paris in her youth and enrolled in the school at the age of a child, has disavowed her Catholic education. Now, she says she is not a Catholic. In addition to her acting career, she pursued a modeling career. She is also the face of L'Oreal Mont Blanc & Chanel and often called The Chanel Muse. She is a keen photographer and has recently exhibited in The Arles International Festival titled Superficial. She focuses her photography on celebrity, fame and the media who scrutinized her following her rise to fame as Amelie. Also, she has numerous photographs of herself. Audrey Tautou rose to fame and stardom with her major role in Le Fabuleux Destin in the film d'Amelie Pouulain. Amelie was a film box office successes and received acclaim at awards ceremonies all over the world. It's also the biggest French language film to ever be released to be released in the US. Following the film, she appeared in many films that ranged from British dramas to Jean Pierre Jeunet's film Un long Sunday de Faancailles. Then she moved into Hollywood and was in the film with Tom Hanks alongside Ron Howard in The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.
