Anna Kendrick is a popular American Oscar-nominated actress, who is known for her roles in numerous hit movies which include a supporting part in Twilight. Her acting journey began when she was an teen in High Society, the Broadway smash musical. She won a Theatre World Award in recognition of her performance. Following that she was a supporting role in the New York City Opera's production A Little Night Music by Stephen Sondheim. Then, she branched out into movies and gained prominence for her film roles following her role in the romantic comedy film Twilight in which she was the best friend of the principal character.
